Photograph America Newsletter by Robert Hitchman is produced quarterly and now is in its 18th year of publication. This newsletter describes where, how, and when to discover some of the best nature photography in America. I have every newsletter, which is now up to 102, and I will continue to receive them because nowhere else can you find the diversity of places and the detail how to photograph the areas. Before I head out to a new place, I look to see if Robert has covered it.
Luminous Landscape website, which is produced by Michael Reichmann off one of the most detailed information site about camera reviews, tutorials, workshops, locations and photo accessories. I always check out his "What's New" page to learn the latest in equipment, software, Photoshop techniques and downloads. His "Understanding Series" offer a great many techniques in how to do it. Check it out.
Birds As Art is the best place to go to learn about bird photography. I consider Arthur Morris to be the best, bar none. Latch onto is bulletin to learn about some of his techniques, equipment and his recent travel locations. He offer various CDs about bird photograph as well as Photoshop techniques. He travels extensively, giving IPT (Instructional Photo Tours) to great places.
Digital Outback offers various reviews and tutorials in state-of-the-art photography. These include things like digital workflow, making better prints and software review. If you are into Lightroom, this website will give you some insight, and also provide a review of a program called Lightzone, which, coupled with Lightroom, makes for a great RAW to print-ready program.
