Morning at Reflection Lake
Mt. Rainier National Park
We had a great Rainier tour, which occurred during the first week of August. With the cool spring and plenty of snow on this mountain, flowering was a little later than normal. However, there were still lots of color along of the trails. I had a great group of folks, some who have never been in the park before, and some who had not been in the park in many years. We went to some of my favorite spots, starting of with Reflection Lake, which is always well photographed in early morning. We visited the trails above Paradise, and also hke the Naches Trail along the east side of the park.
